1979年、福井県生まれ。
多摩美術大学在学中より、ユニット「＋１％」で作品を発表。
大学卒業後、2003年に中西仁史氏とデザインレーベル「Ranch Box」を設立。
2004年、ミラノサローネ サテリテ出展。フランクフルトメッセLight+Buildingほか参加。
2007年７月よりフリーランスで活動。
2008年４月より拠点を東京都新宿区からオーストラリア シドニーへ移動。

”大好き！”を形にする仕事を心がけています。何をデザインする時でも、そのものを大好きになって、その気持ちを表現したいです。
世の中にあふれているモノたち、どれだけ愛されて作られた物なんだろう？どれだけ愛されて使われているだろう？愛情を込めて作ったものは愛されるものになると思います。
ゴミやムダのない世界になるように、人に愛されるデザインをしていきたいです。
そして、”デザイン”を通じて色々な世界の人達と繋がっていきたいです♪
I was born in Fukui Japan in 1979.
When I was student at Tama Art University, and I was a member of the design group called "+1%", I exhibited many prototype products.
After I graduated at a university, I established design label "Ranch Box" with Hitoshi Nakanishi in 2003.
2004, we exhibited at Milano Salone[Salone Satellite] in Milano.
2007,I started working as a freelance designer.
April 2008,I move to Sydney Auitralia from Tokyo Japan.
I always work with a feeling of love in mind.
Whatever I design I come to love, and it is that feeling that I wish
to express in my work. I think that things that are made with love
become things that are used with love.
In order to have a world free of garbage and waste,
I want to create designs that people will love.
And I would love to meet many people of the world through a design.
